Cobham close the gap - 23 November'09
Cobham continued their pursuit of the top league places with a 3-0 win at Chobham on Saturday. Whether it was the additional 'h' weighing them down, Chobham couldn't cope with Cobham's early gusto as the visitors went ahead through Scott Day after only 26 seconds. Four minutes later Shane Rideout made it 2-0 whilst Ricardo Ramsey made it 3-0 with 15 minutes to play. A full match report will be available soon. This result sees the Hammers remain in 5th place but with now only 5 points separating them with top spot.
The reserve's game at Molesey was postponed.
The youth side went down 3-1 at St Andrews on Thursday 19th November.
The Chix stormed through to the 2nd round of the challenge cup with a 9-0 trouncing on the Guildford Saints and now meet the Woking Cougars in January. But they're back to league action next with Hamsey Rangers Ladies visiting on 29th November.
The first team's next game looks to be a trip to 20th placed Feltham on Saturday 28st November.
