New! - Updates and trials - 12 July'08

The Youth friendly at Molesey has been called off - training instead at 10am.

Trials - if you'd like a trial at the club please attend one of the pre-season training sessions every Tuesday and Thursday (both start at 7.30pm) at the club.

New! - Fixtures announced - 7 July'08

Pre-season fixtures for the 1st team, reserves and youth team have all been announced - check the individual pages for more details.

Meanwhile, the FA competitions have also been drawn with Cobham given a home draw against Sussex side Southwick in the FA Cup extra preliminary round with the winners rewarded with a home tie with Merstham in the next round. The FA Vase sees Cobham travel to Deal Town in Kent. The FA Youth cup draw has Arundel v Cobham.

Lastly, the Surrey FA Senior Cup has also been drawn and Cobham face Leatherhead at Anvil Lane. All details of the games can be found in the Fixtures/Results section.

The league season starts 9th August - fixtures to come.

Training and trials - 22 June'08

Training will resume for the youth, reserves and first teams on Tuesday 1st July at 7pm. Please report to clubhouse. If you are would like a trial at Cobham please come along on this night and speak to Pete or Ken.

In other news, Cobham's reserve team have been confirmed in the Suburban League Southern division for 2008/2009.

Cobham seemingly safe - 31 May'08

According to reports Cobham have survived relegation and so will be playing in the Combined Counties Premier League next season. Handily only one team in Division 1 finishing in the top 3 had a ground graded good enough to be promoted - Hartley Wintney, who have replaced relegated Dorking. The other teams coming into the Premier look likely to be Molesey (replacing promoted Merstham) and Badshot Lea transferring over from the Hellenic League - although these details have yet to be confirmed.

In other news, Cobham's league winning Under-15 team unfortunately couldn't do the double as they got beat 3-0 by Worcester Park on 11th May at AFC Wimbledon's ground in the Surrey Youth League Under-15 League Cup final.
