New! - Cobham lose ro Molesey - 19 November'08

The first team's first action for a while saw them come away from Molesey after a 1-5 beating and still joint bottom of the table. More details soon.

The reserves beat Merstham 4-3 at Anvil Lane on Saturday thanks to a Luke Taylor hatrick and an 18-yard bullet from Indy Thomas. This result sees them climb up to 4th in the league. Next up is a trip to Horsham YMCA on 22nd November.

The youth team's game at Three Bridges was postponed and they now face Crawley Down on 20th November.

The first team play Egham Town next on Saturday before their Surrey Cup match against Leatherhead that's been brought forward to 26th November.

Match postponed - 8 November'08

Cobham's home game against Sandhurst Town was postponed on Saturday.

The reserves had a Saturday off but travelled to Bookham in midweek to play a Surrey County FA Saturday Premier Cup 2nd round game and won 4-2 after extra time. They face Mole Valley SCR in the next round. But next up is a trip to Chessington & Hook in the league on 12th November.

The youth team suffered their second league defeat on Thursday, losing 0-2 at home to East Grinstead and slip to 3rd in the table. Next for them is a trip to Three Bridges.

The first team's next game should be the re-arranged fixture at Molesey a week Tuesday (18th November).

Cobham lose down Wembley way - 1 November'08

Cobham added another to their lost column as they came away from Wembley with a 1-2 loss on Saturday. More details soon.

The reserves beat Crowborough Athletic at a soggy Anvil Lane 4-3, to climb to 5th in the league table. Next weekend they travel to Chessington & Hook.

The first team continue their pursuit to double their league win tally next Saturday at home to Sandhurst Town.

Bookham v Cobham report - 27 October'08

Cobham lost at their local neighbours Bookham on Saturday by a 2-4 scoreline, leaving them perilously close to the relegation zone. Robbie Wilson and Cornell McKoy scored the Cobham goals and a full match report is now up in the League Fixtures/Results section.

The reserves gained a point at Leatherhead, 2-2. They next face Crowborough Athletic at home.

Meanwhile the youths came back from 1-2 down at half-time playing South Park at Anvil Lane and won 6-2. Mmmkay? They now sit atop the table once more.

The first team continue their pursuit to double their league win tally next Saturday at Wembley.

Humbled by Horley - 18 October'08

Cobham's first and reserve teams both faced their respective opponents of Horley Town on Saturday, and had mixed results....

The first team lost 0-3 at Anvil Lane whilst the reserves travelled and won 3-1. More details should be available soon.

Meanwhile the youths went to Oakwood and were cut down to size, losing 1-4 and ending their 100% unbeaten league campaign. Next up South Park at home on Thursday.

The first team next travel to Bookham whilst the reserves go to Leatherhead next Saturday.
