This was a roller coaster of a match with Sandhurst just pipping it at the end. The home side got off to a great start with an early goal before being put under pressure by Cobham for much of the first half. The visitors missed a couple of very good chances however it was Sandhurst who got the next goal just before half-time from a terrific shot from outside the penalty area, giving the Cobham goalkeeper no chance.
Cobham came out strongly in the second half and got their first goal from a disputed hand-ball decision just outside the penalty area - the wall held firm but the shot went low and slipped through the home goalie's grasp. Cobham kept up the pressure and went all out for their equaliser and they got it with a little bit of luck. A cross from the wing was mishit and fooled everyone as it arrowed into the net. The pressure on Sandhurst was beginning to tell and a short time later Cobham went 3-2 in the lead with a well taken goal. It looked like the game was up for Sandhurst but they summoned up some fighting spirit to restore the status quo with a terrific shot before gaining the lead again a short while later.
