After a nervous first 10 mins, Town started to control the game and were in front after 17mins. Horley were now settling down and looking in control on what Cobham described as the best pitch they have ever played on. Cobham couldn’t push town back with the midfield too strong for them. It was 2-0 on 35 mins and Town looked to be cruising to their first 3 points of the season, when Cobham were awarded a penalty which they missed. Horley didn’t make the same mistake with their own penalty on 45 mins. The second half saw Horley ease off when they should have continued to take the game to Cobham. With 169 people watching this game hopefully the crowds will increase to watch what is looking like a very good Horley Town team.
